SKY'S 1ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION-PREPARATION

Sky is our first bundle of joy , a blessing, and a gift from God that nothing be compared of.Its an indescribable feeling when we had him.On April 23,20010 is his first birthday and everybody are looking forward on that very especial day.As early as Nov,i already research on what to do on his birthday.We were thinking of a BARNEY THEME, since he super love and enjoy watching Barney.He can stay on his walker watching Barney the whole day.You would really see in his face how he enjoyed and love Barney so there and then,we decided to pick Barney.These are few things on my list...

Up until now,i'm still searching on what to do on my little boy's first birthday.We want to give the best birthday ever we could since this is very meaningful to him.Though he's not yet familiar on whats going on since he's still a baby,but we want him to feel that he is truly a blessing.Every time we would sing him happy birthday song,his eyes twinkles and his face so amazing that could really breaks our heart with happiness.Time flies so very fast that you wouldn't notice that the baby is not a baby anymore..but a kid already..But even when he's adult already,he will always be our little ALAPAAP... :-)

DIAMOND EARINGS

My hubby,baby Sky and i went to a mall yesterday to do some groceries and buy few things for Christmas.As we were roaming around the mall,we happened to bump this newly opened jewelry store.Gosh!! every pieces are so nice and so beautiful.There's this Channel set that i was really interested..I super love the settings and the design.When i checked the price,weeee...super nice too..hehheehe :-) It was kinda expensive but really, it was so beautiful and elegant.Its been a while since the last time i bought a pair of jewelry though, but at this very moment i don't think its practical to buy since i don't go out always anymore like before.Haahahahha...!!! (i'm discouraging myself so i wont be tempt to buy that..) When it come's to jewelry, my hubby wont mind as long as we can afford because its like an investment also.My mom would always tell's me,its better to buy jewelries than expensive bags...mmm..let me think a hundred times first..:-) HELP...HELP.. :) or...mmmm!! what if somebody will buy that huh!!! tsk..tskk..

BARNEY

Who wouldn't know Barney?..I guess everybody knows and adore Barney,ayt!!From a month old up until senior citizen knows Barney.Barney is everybody's bestfriend.He can dance,he can sing and most of all, he teach good values to the kids.When Sky was still a month old,i always play the video Barney when he's awake.Now that he is already 7 months old,Sky's totally enjoyed watching Barney.If he's not in the mood,i'll just play it on,and there you go,he'll just stop and keep his two feet kicking and looking around Barney.We have a couple of DVD Barney collection but there's this one episode that he truly love.Everytime he watched the video,he wants that the volume is super loud.Everytime my hubby would lower down the volume he just shout as if telling he's dad"Dad,move out and don't touch the volume,"He's eyes are really into the television.Watching our baby happy make's us happy too.Everytime Barney and friends dance,he's feet would move and kept on kicking

When Sky was 2 month's old,my hubby bought him a stuff toy Barney,If you pressed Barney's feet,Barney will sing he's popular " I LOVE YOU"song..He really adore it so much.It can help him calm if he's naughty..4 months from now is Sky's first birthday and were planning to have a Barney theme and were saving up so we could give him the best birthday party..

ASTHMA

Asthma is a lung disease that inflames and narrows the airways to and from lungs.The airways extremely sensitive to irritations and increases sensitivity to allergic reaction.If an inflammation will occur,the airways become narrower and thats the time less air will pass through..

SYMPTOMS OF ASTHMA:

wheezing-a whistle noise on the chest when you have asthma attract
breathlessness- short of breathing
coughing-
chest tightness-
difficult in speaking- hard in talking since you are in short of breathing

In medical field,there are no known causes of asthma but it will be triggered due to the environment,genes and the ways of living.In my case,since i am asthmatic since i was in 3rd grade,it was from my genes.My grandfather had it,and he died of respiratory disease.Long before, the technology is not that developed and equipped and that he was not given proper medication.Though his doctor gave him the best but compared to now,its still have a big difference.I have a specialist who monitor my health.I have my own nebulizer machine and my symbicort inhaler.It is not easy if you have asthma.A lot of tings to watch out for.You have to be very careful on what you eat,what you wear,what you use and a lot of things to avoid.Medicines are very expensive.Quiet hard also is that,there are medicines that you cannot take contrary to your allergy.Like me,when i'm on my way to deliver my baby, my doctors are so careful on what to give me such medicines or my body might react to it.I am so blessed and thankful that i deliver my baby well.

In order not to trigger asthma,healthy living is one way of not acquiring it.

MY KOREAN STUDENT " LIM DAE KYU"

Before i got married,i worked as a TESOL (TEACHING ENGLISH TO SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGE) in a KOREAN SCHOOL.At first i was hesitant to apply since i know the fact that i am not teaching Filipino students and i am not an Education degree holder too. I barely don't have any knowledge about Korean's, though my thesis in college was about North and South Korea.I cannot speak and understand their language either.For you to get in,you have to pass the 5 exams,both oral and written and one of it was you have to pass the IELTS or ENGLISH FOR INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITY.Mind you guys it was very hard.I remember after my exam,i was vomiting outside the building.2 days after,i got a call from the school asking me to report for another interview,and thats the time they told me that i got in.Heavenly bliss,i passssss .:-)

The first student that was assigned to me was LIM DAE KYU or DAN.He was 9 years old.A soft spoken and very smart.With Dan, i don't have any problem's teaching him since he's already on the advance program.He's very good in math and he love's he's family so much.If we have time,we talked about his family in Korea,and every time we talked about family,he will cry because he misses his family and wanted to go back home.I always asked him why do you have to come here in the Philippines and study English,he said its all about business in the future.His father want him to run the business when his dad retires.I remember we would sneak out into our cubicle just to eat since we are not allowed to eat inside the cubicle.He teach me a lot of Korean language and in return i teach him some native language too.He asked me if i could teach him how to drive but i refuse for some reason's.One time when i arrived school he was in the lobby waiting for me.When he saw me,he was running up to me,smiling and jumping and hugged me and said" teacher,i am so happy because i eat baboy-litchon,very yummy,very tasteful and the color is red and the pig is eating apple and feet tied..I was laughing and very happy knowing that he like our delicacy.Though his sentence is funny but its not the grammar that counts.Its how he expresses and i find it very cute.When his program was already finished and time to go back in Korea,he cried and i cried too.When he was about to leave,he gave me this very nice and expensive mechanical pencil as a token of our friendship.I also gave him something too.I truly miss him.Hope one day well bump each other soon..:-)

Every time my mom would come over to our house,she would always read this poem that was hanged on the wall near or dining area and she would read it over and over.My mom is a poetic and she has a lot of poem collections on her journal.After reading it,she would say " im gonna copy this one,its so inspiring and beautifully done.."

SKY'S FIRST FLIP-FLOPS

When i am still pregnant with our baby,I'm already eyeing this very cute little flip-plops.I really wanted to buy the very first time i saw it but my hubby told me not to buy it yet, since we still don't know the gender of the baby.Just barely 2 weeks ago,i plan to buy new flip-flops since mine's are already old and wanted to buy new design.But as i enter the store,i saw the flip-flops for baby's that are so cute and so tempting to buy.When i handed the slippers to SKY,he was happy holding it and was about to put inside his mouth thinking it's a food or teether maybe.The color is green,with blue straps and little monkey on the centre.It has an added strap in the back so SKY's little footsie's don't loose his so-o-o-o-o cute slippers. We tried it on his feet and it was so cute and he was smiling and kept on kicking.Just can't wait for the day for him to start walking with his flops.
